About Mauricio Sardá Filho
I'm a web developer at the start of my career, eager to learn and to build. I believe good code and good design go hand in hand.
Who I am
My name is Mauricio Renato Sardá Filho. My path into technology began with hardware maintenance and video editing, and it now expands into the world of web development.
I currently focus on front-end, building semantic, responsive and accessible interfaces. I'm fluent in English (B1) and have a foundation in German (A2), which lets me read documentation and collaborate on international projects.

Journey
- Hardware: Opening up computers. It all started with diagnosing, assembling and maintaining desktops and laptops. That is where I learned how things work on the inside.
- Video: Telling stories on video. Adobe Premiere Pro brought cuts, transitions and animations. Video editing taught me rhythm and attention to detail.
- Code: My first lines of code. In SCTEC's Front-End course I built SkillMatch JS, using classes, closures, Promises and async/await to match candidates and job openings.
- Today: Interfaces for people. Today I build semantic, responsive and accessible interfaces, and I took my first steps with React + Vite in the Ponto app.
Skills
- HTML5 (Beginner). Semantic structure, accessibility and responsive design.
- CSS3 (Beginner). Flexbox, Grid, CSS animations and responsive design.
- JavaScript (Basic). Building functions, callbacks and systems.
- React + Vite (Beginner). First steps, applied in the Ponto app.
- Video editing (Beginner). Cuts, animations, transitions and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- PC maintenance (Intermediate). Hardware, diagnostics, assembly and maintenance of desktops and laptops.

Projects
- Portfolio (Personal website). This website. Rebuilt with React + Vite as a scroll-driven narrative, with light and dark themes, pre-rendered pages per language and a focus on performance and accessibility.
- Ponto (App · Android and web). Time tracking for freelancers: a stopwatch that turns into money. Press play when you start and, at the end of the month, export a PDF to send with the invoice. Works offline, no login.
- Preciosa Aroma e Arte (Online store · Client). I redesigned the store of a handmade home decor brand on the Loja Integrada platform, following the brand's identity guide. Responsive layout, easy-to-tap buttons on phones and WhatsApp ordering.
- SkillMatch JS (First project). Built during SCTEC's Front-End course. It analyses a candidate and a job opening and reports the compatibility percentage, missing skills and what to study next.
- Beauty Salon (Landing page). A landing page with responsive design and interactivity, built for an attractive and immersive experience.
